Happy 2018! The first blogpost of the year! A new year, which means time for some new shoes. Lately I’m totally in love with biker boots. I love to compare it with a short skater skirt and cool printed tights.
Many years ago biker boots were totally overlooked because we still used to wear large pants. Biker boots are often slouchy or loose enough for your foot to slide in. They started to become popular again when skinny jeans, legging and capri pants were back en vogue. Today, they are a mainstream shoe as well and you could see everyone wearing a pair.
I love biker boots matched with skirts. They look good with mini-skirts, swing skirts, maxi skirts. With any skirt really! Biker boots are usually ankle boots, so proportions will look right with any of the skirts I mentioned before.
You would think that a dress is a feminine option and that you are supposed to wear a pair of pumps, or cute flats with it. Wrong! I love contrast in an outfit, so wear your biker boots with a frilly dress. The result will be effortlessly stylish and comfy to go!
That’s why I found these cool biker boots on www.manfield.com/dames. I really like the buckles on it, very stylish! I also love the 4 cm heel, it makes me look taller (and longer legs of course haha).
